Memory; When I plug in the Intel i865PE, i865G and i875 chipset system, the system does not boot or the system is not working properly.
(Note: Intel 865P chipset, version 865PE, does not have DDR400 support, so DDR333 modules should be used on Intel 865P chipset motherboards.)
The default SPD timing values for the HyperX KHX3200 / xxx and KHX3200UL / xxx modules may not be appropriate for the motherboard. You can solve this in two ways:
Experienced Users:
Enter the BIOS settings and check if you can change the memory times. If you can change the memory timings, you will also need to change the following parameters:
RAS-CAS (also called RAS-CAS Delay yada tRCD) – 3
If you have BIOS settings; If it does not allow you to make changes in the memory timings, do the following solution.
New-Inexperienced Users:
Please use the Kingston KHX3200A / 256 and KHX3200A / 512 memory modules instead. Kingston’s engineers have stated that the times of these memories are fully compatible with the i8675 i875 anarchy.
Note: All Kingston products have been tested to work with the specifications indicated on them. Some system and motherboard configurations may not work at the specified HyperX memory speed and timing. Kingston does not recommend that users run their systems at higher speeds than the usual speeds. Overclocking can cause damage to your computer’s components if you change system time.
