Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
– Go to the following registry key and click the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Print \ Environment \ Windows NT x86
View the list of subkeys. Only the following subkeys should be present:

– Drivers
– Print Processors

– If there are more keys than those listed in step 4, follow these steps:

1. On the File menu, click Export.
2. In the File Name box, type a descriptive name for this key (for example, WindowsNTx86regkey), and then click Save.

If you experience problems after completing this procedure, you can restore the key using this backup copy of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Print \ Environment \ Windows NT x86 registry key.
3. Delete any keys that are not listed in step 4.

Go to the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Print \ Monitors and delete the key. View the list of subkeys. Only the following subkeys should be present:

* BJ Language Monitor
* Local Port
* PJL Language Monitor
* Standard TCP / IP Port
* USB Monitor

– If there are other keys than those listed in step 6, follow these steps:

1. On the File menu, click Export.
2. In the File Name box, type a descriptive name for this key (for example, WindowsNTx86regkey), and then click Save.

– Disconnect the printer cable from the computer and restart the computer.
– Reinsert the printer cable into the computer, load the printer according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions, and try printing a test page.
